On Thursday, the lads from the British band Athlete, did a live set on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic.
Good stuff.
These guys are determined to be more than a flavah du jour. KCRW host Nic Harcourt called them the "stealth" band. With quality lyrics, real instruments, and the ability to sound just as good live as they do on their albums, these guys won't be flying under the radar too much longer. Check em out.
Like I said before, this is good stuff.
