I remember those long red vines hanging next to the check out all wrapped in plastic...Oh now my mouth is watering, (slurp-slurp) and I know I can't buy them in saipan!!!!
Honestly I remember my mama called them licorice whips...but I dont remember ever getting whipped with one LOL!
Twizzlers are a new fangled promotion to sell some poor saps plastic....
