Snow Patrol: "This Glasgow-by-way-of-Ireland outfit had been climbing U.K. charts since 1998 — with their debut album, Songs for Polar Bears, and then in 2001 with When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up — but it took 2004's Final Straw to finally reach Stateside rock fans.

Though they're most often compared to Brit-poppers Coldplay, Snow Patrol delve deeper sonically, liberally using samples, employing complex string arrangements and lush arrangements, while still throwing down the occasional meaty hook." (via Blender)

I've been listening to their new album, Final Straw, almost non-stop. Haunting lyrics. Tight instrumentals. All around a great album. While I like all the songs on this album, I really have to say that Chocolate is my favorite track. No wait, its Spitting Games. Oh bloody hell.......I like 'em all!
