Today is one of the days that we have all too frequently up here in this niche of America--a day so perfect that even the Pope himself would consider abandoning his Catholic faith, joining the Mormons, and settling down in this quiet town nestled along the majestic Wastach Front.
The sky is blue....not just regular blue--more like cobalt. Intense. Not a cloud mars the endless plain sky as it stretches outward from Utah and to the east towards (Utah's mortal enemy) Denver, north to (its ideological sister) Idaho, west past its fallen brethren in Las Vegas (Viva was founded as a Mormon settlement), and out to the fruit and nuts in California.
Ah, California.
