What story was so provocative, so earth-shattering, and of such importance that it knocked the tsunami off as the lead story on the local news?
The ongoing crisis in Darfur? The end of the civil war in Sudan? The escalating spike of violence in Iraq? The death of 15 more American soldiers? The torrential rain, mudslides, and storms slamming Southern California? Nope.
I know this is a "company town", but puh-lease.
